Day 31: The Will of God becomes the Child’s Desire and Acts through the Child
Because apostle Paul lived by faith, not by sight, he did not lose his overflowing joy and gratitude even in prison. He encouraged the Philippian church members and let them know that God was working through him and them.
Lord, Paul didn't focus on the situation but held to God's will for him and his people. Lord, Apostle Paul's statement, "For it is God who works in you both to will and to act according to His good purpose." (Philippians 2:13), is our confession today.
Lord, every time we read Paul's epistles, we are reminded to walk with God, to take courage and hope, and to know God's will amid our difficult situations.
Lord, if we live according to our thoughts and our way and still think that God listens to our requests, then we cannot say that we walk with God.
Lord, we lift our next generations to You in our prayers. Draw their hearts close to You and instill a righteous desire in them that their focus is not on themselves but on You, who loves and cares for them, so they may desire to please You in whatever they do.
Holy Spirit, please renew the next generation's hearts to discern Your good and pleasing will so they may desire to do according to Your plans and purposes.
Father God, bless our next generation, love You wholeheartedly, and seek Your will to become their vision. Lord, please let the next generation live daily with a godly vision. Father God, please transform their hearts so that they long for Your will becomes their visions.
Lord, let them examine themselves and decide whether they are pursuing the glory and honor of God or what they want.
Lord, we pray for the next generations to trust God, who hears them as they pray and pursue His will, not their own, but do what pleases Him.
Father God, please place Your will in the next generation's hearts so that Your will become their desires (vision).
We know You give them opportunities and abilities to work according to Your will and good purpose.
Thank You, Father God, for using them as partners in fulfilling Your good purposes by amending their weaknesses and shortcomings.
Lord, give them bold faith so they may have confidence that what they have believed and asked for has already been obtained (1 John 5:14-15).
Lord, bless the next generation with wisdom, courage, and resilient faith as they follow your vision in their hearts. Lord, bless their hearts so they may know they are God's fields and buildings (1 Corinthians 3:9).
Lord, we are fervently praying that no matter what difficult circumstances our next generation may face, they will find God's purpose amid it, hold on to it, and fulfill it so that they will glorify God through what they do.
In the name of the precious Jesus, we pray, Amen
